Music director Ravindra Jain passes away

Mumbai: Veteran music director Ravindra Jain passed away on Thursday at a private hospital in Mumbai. He breathed his last at around 4:10 pm today.

The lyricist was suffering from a urinary infection, which caused a problem in his kidney. He was unwell from some time now and was admitted to the hospital. On Wednesday, he was shifted from Wockhardt hospital in Nagpur to Lilavati hospital in Bandra.

He went to Nagpur for a program but failed to participate due to his ill health and then he was shifted to Mumbai.

Mr Jain was known for his hit films – “Geet Gaata Chal”, “Chor Machaye Shor”, “Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se” and “Chitchor”.
