Mumbai: Actor Shahid Kapoor‘s mother Neelima Azeem also confirmed the pregnancy of Mira Rajput and said that Shahid will be the world’s best dad. The cute couple of B-Town, Shahid and his wife Mira are expecting their first child and reports say that the couple will welcome the baby in autumn as Mira is due to deliver their little bundle of joy in September or October.
To a leading daily, Neelima Azim said, “Of course, Shahid had told me at the right time, but I guessed it much earlier. Call it a mother’s intuition or sixth sense, but I was pretty sure Mira was expecting earlier. I was extremely happy when Shahid confirmed what I was thinking!”
“It’s a great feeling becoming a grandmother and very difficult to express in words. We are all feeling so thrilled, excited and yet emotional… It’s a happy time for us all,” she added.
The granny-to-be further said, “I just want the baby to be happy, healthy and fine… Whether it’s a boy or girl doesn’t matter.”
The heartthrob of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Mira in a private ceremony last year.
