After wowing us with the grandeur of the wedding card, which had a small video playing in it whenever somebody opened it, Gali Janardhan Reddy’s daughter’s wedding is back to bedazzle us with sneak peeks from the dazzlingly decked house of the Karnataka mining baron.
The bride, Brahmani Reddy, must have had her dream come true with such lavish arrangements. The Reddy marriage organizers have estimated to have spent around Rs. 30 crores for the event, but the figure may well cross 100 crores. Goes without saying the father is pulling no stops to make his little princess happy!
It is said that there are many a landmarks at the function area. From replicas of the houses of the bride and groom to the facsimile of Vitthala temple in Hampi, this wedding might just be the biggest one of the year. Sources have also told us that the dining area has been designed to look like the ancestral village of the Reddy’s in Bellary. And it doesn’t stop there, around 40 bullock carts will ferry the guests from the entrance to the hall with the whole place being decorated with flowers, elephants, musicians, etc. Supposedly 50,000 people are invited including the VIPs as 3,000 security guards will supervise.
The wedding is scheduled to take place tomorrow at Bangalore Palace grounds. The groom, Rajeev Reddy, is the son of a Hyderabad-based industrialist and we can sure say that he gets the girl and the glamour.
A wedding of such stunning levels does call into question the purity of the purchases made. But the event managers have emphasized that they are in accordance with the newly instated demonetization scheme and are following all the procedures. Needless to say, this wedding will raise many an expectations and eyebrows!
