A successful model, Katie May passed away on Thursday evening. She was 34. The social media star breathed her last after she was hospitalized for a blockage in her carotid artery on Monday. The ‘Playboy’ model was in a critical condition after the blockage resulted in a stroke.
In a statement, May’s brother, Stephen, said, “It is with heavy hearts that we confirm the passing today of Katie May-mother, daughter, sister, friend, businesswoman, model and social media star-after suffering a catastrophic stroke caused by a blocked carotid artery on Monday.”
“Katie was a star in every sense of the word and I’ll never stop missing her”, he added.
The “Queen of Snapchat” is survived by her seven-year-old daughter. The family has started a “GoFundMe” page to try and raise USD 100,000 to support the little girl.
