Mumbai: Salman Khan starrer “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” entered Rs 100 crore club but is still behind the collections of SS Rajamouli’s “Baahubali – The Beginning”. Directed by Sooraj R Barjatya, the film opened in packed houses on November 12, 2015 and is riding high in the theatres. The film stars Sonam Kapoor in a romantic lead role opposite Salman Khan in the family drama.

After Bollywood films “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”, “Baahubali” and “ABCD 2”, Salman’s “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” is the 5th film in 2015 to enter ₹ 100 cr club. The picture collected Rs 30.47 crore on its third day and Rs 101.47 in its three days of release.

Super star Salman Khan is seen playing a dual role in “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”. The film also features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher, Swara Bhaskar and Armaan Kholi in supporting roles.

In 2015, Prabhas’ starrer “Baahubali” made headlines with its incredible box office collections. The period drama also elevated the status of the stars in the flick. However, Salman’s “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” is yet to beat Prabhas’ “Baahubali” and is expected to break all the records in the coming days.
