Mumbai: Bollywood’s ‘Hollywood Beauties’ Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are on a high demand! Both the stars carved a niche for themselves in the Indian cinema and are also on a spree of signing projects on International platforms.
According to reports, the busy girls of Bollywood will perform at the star-studded night of IIFA 2016, which will take place in Spain. If buzz has to be believed, Deepika and Priyanka have demanded a mammoth amount of Rs 1.3 crore each for their just a four-minute act. Buzz added that Deepika has reportedly asked Rs 33 lakh per minute and also Priyanka demanded the same amount.
A source was quoted as telling a leading media house, “The organisers were in talks with many celebrities to perform on stage. They even conducted a research to find out which Bollywood celebrities are popular in Madrid and results showed Deepika and Priyanka top the actresses’ list and therefore, were ready to shell out a hefty amount to have them in their performance line-up. Normally, Bollywood girls are paid Rs 70-80 lakh for a stage act depending on their popularity and market value.”
“The brand value of the two girls has shot up after they forayed into Hollywood and if they are asking for that much money for a performance, it is absolutely justified. The organisers have agreed to their demand too,” another source added.
