Chennai: After 30 long years, the super stars of the South – Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have decided to work together. The duo was last seen together in “Geraftar” (1985) and “Alavudeenum Arpudha Vilakum” (1979). Now, the actors have collaborated together for a cricket match organised by South Indian Artistes’ Association aka Nadigar Sangam. In order to raise funds constructing the building of Nadigar Sangam, the match will be played on April 10 in Chennai.
A source from Nadigar Sangam said, “Right now, we have Rs 48 lakh in cash and we have borrowed Rs 2 crore from the bank. To raise more funds to complete the building, we are conducting this celebrity cricket match. The entire Tamil film fraternity will come together for this initiative and the event will be attended by Rajini sir and Kamal sir.”
