Chennai: Finally, the release date of the much-talked-about film “Kabali” is out! Starring Super star Rajinikanth in a title role, the movie is one of the most looked-for dramas in both Tamil and Telugu languages. It is heard that the makers are planning to release the movie in packed houses on July 1, 2016.
“The film was earlier slated to release in June. It has been now pushed to July 1. The makers had also planned to release on July 7 but have advanced the release to avoid a clash with Salman Khan’s Sultan,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.
Written and directed by Pa. Ranjith stars critically acclaimed actress Radhika Apte in a romantic lead role opposite Rajini. The much-awaited revolves around the gangster and his life. Produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu, the film also features Dinesh, Kalaiarasan, Dhansikaa and Ritwika in supporting roles.
