Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor during the trailer launch of his forthcoming film “Shaandaar” said that there is no similarity between actresses Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor. The official trailer of the “Shaandaar” was unveiled and has garnered good response from the audience.
At the event, Shahid was asked how similar are Alia and Kareena as he worked with both the stars. Then Shahid replied that Kareena and Alia have no similarities besides the fact that he has done romantic comedies with both the actresses. He even said that it was brave of someone as young as Alia to choose the kind of roles she has. Shahid added that Alia carved her own niche with the kind of films she has chosen and he is very proud of her.
“Shaandaar” is an upcoming rom-com starring new pair Alia and Shahid in lead roles. The first look posters and the theatrical trailer already made their mark and raised the expectations on the film. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the movie is produced by Phantom films and Dharma Productions. The film is set to open to packed houses on October 22, 2015.
