New Delhi: Bollywood icon Shahid Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with his off-screen love Mira Rajput on Tuesday at Mira’s Chhatarpur farmhouse. A post-wedding party is also organised at a plush hotel.
Nearly 50 rooms were blocked at the Gurgaon hotel and the grand presidential suite is occupied. Shahid’s family members and guests are arriving at the Trident hotel in Gurgaon for the wedding. Shahid Kapoor has occupied the presidential suite, spread across a vast 5,300 sq ft, at The Oberoi. The suite is a luxury double bedroom residence with a dining room, an outdoor pool, Italian marble fireplace and gym-cum-yoga room. It is heard that the suite costs nearly Rs 600,000 plus taxes per night, according to reports.
On Monday, a grand Sangeet ceremony took place at the Mira’s Chhatarpur. The Sangeet was the talk of the town as the couple wowed everyone with their performance to the Bollywood chartbusters.
The wedding trousseau has been designed by Anamika Khanna for beautiful Mira and the couple’s attire would be colour-coordinated.
Only family members, close relatives and friends of the couple will grace the occasion. Shahid’s parents are over seeing the wedding preparations. On July 12, a grand wedding reception will be arranged for the A-list stars of Bollywood in Mumbai.
