Shobhaa De is very well known for her crass comments on a lot of issues. Be it about actresses or the sports stars, or just the amm admi ya aurath. She has always been a target on twitter for her obnoxious comments. This has become a topic of discussion again because of the tiff between Bollywood fashionista, Sonam Kapoor and the lady herself after the latter called her a ‘lassie who lacks oomph’. But seems like Shobhaa has left it all behind as she now calls Sonam ‘good looking’ probably to make amends.
Shobhaa took to Twitter where she tried to make things right with the actress by writing, “Saw this ad #ThingsDontJudge but people do. Inspired to make amends. Sonam Kapoor, I got it wrong.”
Sonam and Shobhaa’s tiff became a public affair when the latter criticized her film ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ in her blog by mocking the film as ‘I Hate Dumb Storys’ and taking a dig at Sonam by calling her ‘a lassie who lacks oomph’. Sonam shot back immediately on social media, “Guys please don’t take Shobhaa De seriously. She’s a fossil who’s getting no action and going through menopause. So just for her.” Later, Sonam apologized to De saying that she was ashamed for her momentary judgement.
