Hyderabad: Speculation is rife that the actress Shriya Saran bagged an important role in the SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus “Baahubali 2”. Reports surfaced saying that the actress is roped to play the wife of Rana Daggubati in the movie. But she confirmed that she is not part of the movie.
Recently, at an event, when Shriya was asked about her role in the film, she cleared the air and said that the movie makers have not approached her but she would like to be part of the epic drama.
According to reports, she said, “I haven’t been approached by the makers. I wish I were a part of this film but I am not.”
Being directed by Rajamouli, “Baahubali 2” is the second installment of blockbuster film “Baahubali – The Beginning”. Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia and others in major roles, the film won appreciation from the audience.
