Hyderabad: An acclaimed singer of Telangana, Madhu Priya’s love marriage raised dust in the industry. Madhu’s wedding with her long time boyfriend sparked a new controversy. She tied the knot with her neighbour Mangi Srikanth.
The young girl shot to fame at the age of 13 and won accolades for her super talent in folk songs. She took the ladder of fame with song “Aadapillanammaa”. According to reports, the singer was in a relationship with Srikanth for almost two years and the couple entered the wedlock recently. Madhu Priya said that the families are happy with their marriage.
But reports surfaced in the media that her husband was attacked by the relatives of the singer on Thursday night. Few other reports said that the relatives even tried to kidnap her before the wedding. It is also heard that the couple reportedly filed a complaint against the relatives with the Kagaznagar Police. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.
