The arrest of Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan,has created chaos in the Bollywood industry.
Recently, on the 3rd of October, Aryan Khan, 23 year old, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials for his involvement in drugs related case. Aryan Khan was arrested with seven others during a raid at a cruise party, where drugs were available and were consumed.
The raid started at 10 A.M., on Sunday night and continued till 2:00 P.M. After the intensified search, the anti drug agency found Aryan Khan was involved. The high-profile raid on Sunday recovered 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) and 5 grams of medicinal drugs in possession of the seven arrested. The charges brought against Aryan Khan include purchase, possession and use of banned substances, it added.
Aryan Khan has been booked under Sections 27 (punishment for consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance), 8C (produce, manufacture, possess, sell or purchase of drugs) and other relevant provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS.)
He is said to be under the NCB custody till today, the 4th of October, for interrogation. On Sunday evening, Aryan Khan and 7 others were produced before a Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court and remanded for 24 hours custody to the NCB. After an investigation the NCB officials said, Aryan Khan was consuming drugs since four years and was on drugs during his international visit to Dubai and the United Kingdom too.
Shah Rukh Khan’s lawyer Mr. Satish Maneshinde, representing Aryan Khan demanded bail, saying the arrest has been done on the basis of chats, but there is no evidence of his consumption. The lawyer said, “Aryan had no ticket, no cabin or seat on board the cruise. He was there because he had been invited. He didn’t even have a boarding pass. Nothing has been found on him. He was arrested on the basis of chat only.”
The bail of Aryan Khan, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son, is yet to be accepted by the Mumbai Court. Aryan Khan is expected to be produced before the Mumbai High Court, today, the 4th of October.
