Hyderabad: It is known to everyone that Tamil blockbuster drama “Thani Oruvan” is all set for a Telugu remake and Mega Power star Ram Charan is playing a major role in the film. Now, it is heard that the regular shooting will kick-start in the second week of January. Buzz says that the pre-production of the action drama is nearing completion and the movie might hit floors in January, 2016.
The remake of “Thani Oruvan” in Telugu stuck limelight with the latest updates and developments. The headlines-making upcoming picture is evoking curiosity in the T-Town for its star cast. Latest reports says that veteran actor Arvind Swamy might reprise his role in the remake as well. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.
The makers are also yet to announce the name of the female lead in the movie. Even though there are reports that Ileana D’Cruz and Kajal Agarwal might bag the role in the remake, the makers are yet to finalise the leading lady opposite Ram Charan.
Movie maker Surender Reddy, who won hearts with “Race Gurram”, is prepping up to direct the mind-racing thriller and ace producer DVV Danayya is producing the commercial entertainer.
Filmmaker Mohan Raja directed the “Thani Oruvan” in Tamil. The film stars Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swamy and Nayantara in prominent roles.
