Bahubali 2 Pre-Release Business: Rights Sold For A Record Price : “Baahubali: The Conclusion” can be called the most awaited film of the Telugu and Indian film industry. After the release of “Baahubali: The Beginning” in 2015, it received international critical acclaim and broke the records of some of Hollywood’s biggest hits. The Conclusion movie, which is still in post-production is expected to release on April 28, 2017. But even before its release, the movie has raked in Rs. 500 crores through satellite rights and distribution. An industry critic and source, Ramesh Bala, shared on Twitter the official figures.

Apart from distribution and satellite rights, Bollywood’s biggest filmmaker bought the Hindi rights of the film for a humongous Rs. 120 crores. The first installment of the movie, which was made with a budget of Rs. 180 crores became the highest grosses with Rs. 600 crore worldwide collection. The film gurus estimate that the second installment “Baahubali: The Conclusion” will rake in Rs.1000 crores worldwide and make it India’s biggest hit.
Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishna, Nasser and Satya Raj are slated to reprise their roles along with others. The movie’s director S.S. Rajamouli speaking to the press once said that ‘Baahubali 2‘ will be only bigger and better than “Baahubali: The Beginning“.”
The theatrical trailer is expected to release by the end of February and the World will receive it’s answer to ‘Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?‘ in the month of April.
