“The Ghazi Attack,” a movie inspired by true events has been doing the rounds for its much praised content and portrayal of the characters by the actors. Based in 1971, the movie tracks the journey of an executive naval officer of Indian Submarine, S21 and his team who remain underwater for 18 days. It explores about how the PNS Ghazi, a Pakistani submarine sank off the coast of Visakhapatnam and the mystery surrounding it.
An underwater war tale, a story filled with courage and patriotism, shows how the Indian Submarine destroyed PNS Ghazi which ventured into Indian waters to destroy the INS Vikrant. The filmmaker based this mystery for the war film as Pakistan claims the Ghazi was self-destructed or by a landmine it placed in the Bay of Bengal.
