Hyderabad: Television anchor Nirosha found dead on Wednesday morning at her paying guest hostel in Sindhi Colony in Secunderabad. She was 23. The anchor, who hails from Malleswarapuram village in Chittoor District in Andhra Pradesh, committed suicide at her hostel by strangling.
Earlier, Nirosha hosted shows on TV6 and ABN channels and then moved to Gemini music channel. After receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and are investigating. A case has been registered under the section 174 (suspicious death).
According to reports, the police are searching the call log data of her mobile phone to ascertain the last few moments before she committed suicide. More details are awaited soon.
