Hyderabad: Ever since the filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma announced his next project titled “Vangaveeti“, it is embroiling in issues. Despite controversies, the maverick director RGV decided to make a film, which is is centered around the rivalry between Vangaveeti family and Devineni family.
Now, the director headed to Vijayawada for a research work on the forthcoming film. RGV took to his micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “Going to Vijayawada on 26th to meet some people for the research on “Vangaveeti”.
RGV is gearing up to direct the movie, which focuses on the evolution of rowdyism in Vijayawada. Recently, a complaint has also been filed against the movie maker by Global Gandhi Trust. The President of the trust said that the film might create tension between the two castes and might trigger violence in the city once again. But seems that RGV has decided to portray their rivalry on the silver screens.
