Mumbai: Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan won his first award for the super hit film “Badlapur”. Last night, the actor was honoured at the Masalaa Awards in Dubai. The actor was excited before the event with the nomination. However, Varun bagged the award.
On his official Twitter handle, Varun wrote, “Last night at the #masalaawards. My first win for #Badlapur. Thank u Dubai.”
The 28-year-old delivered a stunning performance in the revenge saga “Badlapur”. The brilliant and an all new performance of Varun impressed the audience and the critics as well. All of sudden, after the release of “Badlapur”, Varun became an intense actor from a chocolate boy.
Currently, Varun Dhawan is busy shooting his forthcoming movie “Dilwale”. The Rohit Shetty’s directorial “Dilwale” also stars most loved couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in major roles. Actress Kriti Sanon will be seen playing a romantic lead role opposite Varun. The film is set for a grand release on December 18, 2015.
