Chennai: Actor Vikram’s daughter Akshita got engaged to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi’s great grandson Manu Ranjith. The ceremony was a low-key affair and was held in a plush hotel in the city on Sunday. Only couple’s family members, relatives and close friends witnessed the event and blessed the couple.
Movie maker Shankar and others were spotted at the ceremony. Akshita and Ranjith were in a relationship and have decided to tie the knot. The wedding date has not been decided yet but speculation is rife that the wedding will take place next year.
