Mumbai: Bollywood director Rajkumar Hirani seems to be happy that his friend Sanjay Dutt is back from the prison. The filmmaker was present at the airport of Pune to receive the actor, who took a chartered flight to Mumbai. The actor was released from the Yerwada Jail on Thursday morning. He will visit Siddhivinayak temple and then he will be heading to Bada Kabristan to visit his mother Nargis’s grave.
It is known to that Rajkumar is busy with the biopic of the actor and it is heard that his Sanjay’s exit from the prison will be documented as the first shot of the biopic, starring Ranbir Kapoor in a title role.
The director said, “We are happy that Sanju is back. He has served his term and he’s going to come back and play his second innings. Indians are famous for scoring well in the second innings. I’m sure he’ll come back and rock. I look forward to his biopic and also to start Munna Bhai 3 with him very soon.”
