Surat: As many as 11 persons were killed and 15 others were injured in a bus crash in the early hours of Monday on NH 8. According to police, the accident occurred when a minibus, which is on its way to Surat, rammed into a luxury bus, on its way to Mumbai from Surat, in Thane Rural at around 3.30 am. It is heard that the accident took place as the driver of the minibus fell asleep at the wheel.
The injured were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. Nearly 11 killed, including five-year-old and four females. The police are investigating the case.
