As many as 16 people were injured on Sunday in shooting at New Orleans park. The incident occurred when hundreds of people gathered for making a music video in New Orleans park at around 7 pm local time, according to reports. The wounded were immediately admitted to a hospital for treatment.
As per reports, Michael Harrison, Police Superintendent of New Orleans said that many people had opened fired into the crowd. He added that no one has died in the attack but many hospitalised. It heard nearly 300 people gathered for the event.
A few other reports stated that according to eye-witnesses, they saw a man with a silver-colored machine gun and also heard gunshots from within the mob. It is also heard that there were two groups in the crowd that opened fire and then managed to fled away. More details are still awaited.
