Akbaruddin Owaisi, a member of the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Chandrayangutta, on the 27th of June, returned to India.
Akbaruddin Owaisi, who was, on the 9th of June, shifted to London for treatment, is now completely fine.
Akbaruddin was suffering from injuries he received when he was attacked in 2011 and went to London to receive treatment for the same.
In 2011, Akbaruddin Owaisi was stabbed with a knife and shot 3 times in Barkas, Hyderabad, leaving him severely injured. Since 2011, Mr. Akbaruddin was undergoing treatment for the injuries as they were not completely healed.
However, after he returned from London, the AIMIM sources said, Akbaruddin is absolutely fine now.
The AIMIM members and workers welcomed Owaisi and wished for his good health.
Akbaruddin Owaisi will soon take over all his responsibilities as the MLA of Chandrayangutta. He will also be active in party events and meetings and will work towards the development of the Constituency.
