Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president YS Sharmila Reddy has accused YSRCP President Jagan Mohan Reddy of engaging in “murderous politics.” She criticized Jagan for betraying his family, particularly his sisters, and questioned his actions regarding his uncle Vivekananda Reddy’s murder.
“Jagan is walking around with Viveka’s killers. Why didn’t he protest in Delhi against his uncle’s murder? What can he achieve without attending the assembly?” Sharmila asked. She insisted that the Vinukonda murder was personal, not political.
Sharmila urged CM Chandrababu Naidu to secure special status for Andhra Pradesh and demanded compensation for farmers affected by recent rains. She highlighted the farmers’ struggles due to inadequate government support and called for immediate assistance.
Questioning the disaster response, Sharmila asked about NDRF deployment in Andhra Pradesh compared to states like Gujarat. She urged CM Chandrababu to declare the situation a state calamity and criticized the BJP’s central budget as inadequate.
