Warangal: Congress party’s key leader Rahul Gandhi promised to distribute the illegal income of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders to the common people in the Telangana state. Rahul hoped that Congress will come into power in Telangana defeating BRS.
He addressed public meetings at Manuguru of Bhadradri Kothagudem, Narsampet of Warangal district on Friday. Rahul alleged Rs. 1 lakh crores corruption in Kaleshwaram project. He said that democracy was in danger as the government was taken under control by the KCR family.
“Key departments with huge funds were under the control of KCR family, and the Kaleshwaram project lost its sheen in three years. BRS MLAs took bribes for allocating lands under Dalitha Bandhu. Around 20 lakh farmers lost their lands with the Dharani land regulation scheme brought by BRS. KCR and his family benefited from this,” Rahul Gandhi alleged.
Rahul said that BJP and BRS are friendly parties and recalled that BRS supported the farm bills introduced by the center. He asserted that BRS will lose Telangana assembly elections and BJP will face defeat in general elections.
Rahul Gandhi posted in ‘X’ that Congress will change Pragathi Bhavan into ‘Praja Palana Bhavan’ (People’s administration building) and conduct a regular grievance program of chief minister and council of ministers. He said that a dedicated mechanism to resolve grievances within 72 hours.
