Hyderabad: Congress party assured to fill around 2 lakh government jobs as soon as they come into power. Party senior leader Priyanka Gandhi campaigned across the state on Friday and said that they are committed to fulfill all election promises.
Priyanka addressed a public meeting at Palakurthi assembly constituency and said that they have recruited 2 lakh people in Rajasthan in the last five years. “You have witnessed the last 10 years ruling of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). This government looted the lands of the poor. The Kaleshwaram project and Mission Bhagiratha were filled with corruption. Many youth committed suicide due to paper leakage. A few ministers made of of suicide of a job aspirant. We are agonized about the condition of jobless youth,” Priyanka said.
She added that the Congress party is committed to fulfill every single promise given in the manifesto. Priyanaka said that ‘Bye-Bye KCR’ had become a popular slogan across the state.
Priyanka asked the women and farmers not to trust the false propaganda of BRS. “We have initiated crop loan waiver within 24 hours of assuming power at Chattisgarh. We are committed to do the same in Telangana. Every eligible woman in the state will get Rs.2500 through Maha Lakshmi scheme and a gas cylinder will be given at a subsidized price of Rs.500,” Priyanka said.
