Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president and Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu commended party leaders and MLAs from 10 Assembly constituencies for achieving top positions in the ongoing membership enrollment drive. During a teleconference on Wednesday with TDP MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and grassroots activists, he praised their dedication and hard work.
The Chief Minister highlighted the historic success of the membership drive launched on October 26, which has already enrolled 52.45 lakh members. Constituencies like Rajampet, Kuppam, Kalyanadurgam, Palakol, Atmakur, Mangalagiri, Kanigiri, Kodu, Vinukonda, and Kavali stood out for their exemplary performance. Chandrababu Naidu also appreciated IT Minister Nara Lokesh for his proactive efforts in driving the program forward.
The TDP supremo reiterated his commitment to rebuilding Andhra Pradesh and credited the party’s activists for their resilience during challenging times. He announced that the TDP is introducing a permanent membership system with a ₹1 lakh fee, which will be used for the welfare of activists. Additionally, the party has increased the insurance coverage for members to ₹5 lakh.
Naidu also assured swift action against those misusing power and revealed plans for revenue camps to resolve pending land issues. With ₹1,400 crore allocated for road repairs, he pledged to make all roads pothole-free by Sankranti.
