Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, expressed confidence that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will regain its former glory in Telangana. Speaking at the NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad, Naidu highlighted the party’s enduring commitment to the Telugu society.
Naidu received a warm welcome from party leaders and cadres, who gathered in large numbers. He emphasized that the development of Hyderabad, initiated by the TDP, has continued under successive governments. Naidu called for cooperation between the Telugu states for mutual progress.
“The TDP will exist as long as the Telugu society flourishes,” Naidu stated, urging leaders and activists to uphold the party’s legacy. He stressed the importance of dialogue over disturbances in resolving issues.
Recalling the contributions of the late NTR, Naidu noted the party’s role in empowering the Backward Classes (BCs) and bringing independence to the people of Telangana. He also acknowledged the unwavering support from the TDP cadre in Telangana, despite not being in power for two decades.
Naidu reaffirmed his commitment to working for the welfare of the Telugu society and resolving bilateral issues between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
