Srinagar: A civilian killed in a gunfight between security forces and terrorists on Monday in Kulgam district of South Kashmir. The battle began on Sunday.
According to police, a search operation was launched by a joint team of police and the army on Sunday when the officials learned the presence of terrorists in Redwani Bala village. During the operation, the terrorists, who were inside a building, opened fire and thus the security forces retaliated. The firing continued till late on Sunday. According to reports, both terrorists have been killed in the encounter.
