Medak, Telangana : An unexpected Fire breaks out at the pandal of ‘Ayutha Chandi Maha Yagnam’ in Medak (Telangana).
Fire at the pandal of ‘Ayutha Chandi Maha Yagnam’ under control, four fire tenders dousing the fire. No causalities reported. More details awaited.

The five-day ‘Ayutha Chandi Maha Yagam’, being performed by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at his farm house in Erravelli in Medak district, on Wednesday.

It is stated that as many as 1,100 ruthvijas, 11 each at 100 ‘homagundams’ (sacred fire pits), would recite ‘veda mantras’ several thousand times during the five days.

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu will today take part in ‘Ayutha Chandi Maha Yagnam’ organised by Telangana CM KC Rao.

The rituals included Gow puja, maha mandapa sthapana, Chandi Yantra Lekhanam, Yantra Pratishta, Prana Pratishta, Ekadasanyasa Purvaka Sahasra Chandi Parayanam and others. Ritwiks from various parts of the country are participating in the Yagam, termed as the biggest religious event of the kind held in recent times.
