Bangalore: AIADMK Chief, Tamil Nadu Ex Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is now freed from all the 14 charges that were laid against her. Justice CR Kumara Swamy stuck down the judgement given by the trail court on the disproportionate assets case. This judgement now gave her path to become the Chief minister of Tamil Nadu once again.
In the past the special court issued a judgment on the case after 18 years of investigation. The court found her guilty and sentenced 4 years of jail along with 100 crore punitive.
Later Jayalalithaa appealed to the Karnataka High Court on the issue, now the high court verdicted Jayalalithaa not- guilty of all the charges, which cleared line for her to become Chief Minister once again. The two other accused, Sasi Kala and Sudhakaran were also cleared of all the charges.
