On the 24th of June, the Members of Parliament (MPs) tabled the amended bills for approval and discussion in the 17th Lok Sabha.
Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India, tabled the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation (Amendment) Bill, 2019.
Ravi Shankar Prasad tabled the Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Bill, 2019 and Aadhar and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2019.
The major issues discussed in the Rajya Sabha were related to the supply of drinking water and water crisis in different parts of the Country.
The MPs of the Lok Sabha raised the water crisis issue unanimously and demanded immediate intervention by the Government.

At the Monsoon session of the Lok Sabha, there were also discussions about other issues by the MPs of the opposition parties.
Aadhir Ranjan Choudhary, the Parliamentary leader of the Indian National Congress (INC,) targeted the Central Government regarding several issues, including the death of children in Bihar due to AES.
The INC also demanded immediate action for the revival of state owned telecom firms MTNL and BSNL, as the employees are not getting paid on time.
On the other hand, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs raised the issue of the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) used during the Lok Sabha elections. The TMC MPs said, “No to EVMs, yes to paper ballots,” demanding paper ballots for voting.
The 6th day of the Lok Sabha session started today, on the 24th of June.
The 17th Lok Sabha session started from the 17th of June and will continue till the 26th of July.
