Amaravathi: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, Information Technology, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, has urged everyone to participate in large numbers in the upcoming Parents and Teachers Mega Meet on December 7. The meeting, he stated, should transcend political affiliations and be a collective effort to strengthen the academic system and address current issues in education.

In an open letter to the public, Mr. Lokesh emphasized that this event would provide a unique opportunity to connect teachers, students, and parents, facilitating mutual understanding and resolution of academic challenges. He noted that the meeting would be held in a festive atmosphere across the state, marking a historic first for the country.

He further encouraged public representatives, from ward members to Members of Parliament, and from sarpanches to the Chief Minister, to attend the event, keeping politics aside. “This meeting will offer parents insight into their children’s academic progress, behavior, and interests, providing a platform for teachers to encourage students in various fields,” Lokesh said.

The education minister also invited donors, alumni, and voluntary organizations to join the initiative, highlighting that the aim was to keep education free from politics and foster closer ties between students and the system.
