Amaravati: AP Minister Nara Lokesh has expressed strong disapproval of what he called malicious propaganda by YSRCP regarding an incident at the Tanuku Anna Canteen. Lokesh accused YSRCP of deliberately spreading false information, claiming that food plates were discarded in a sink meant for handwashing.
In a sharp response, Lokesh stated, “The psycho batch has stooped low to spread poison by creating a false narrative. They removed the plates from the sink and then made a misleading video to tarnish the reputation of Anna canteens. The Anna canteens prioritize taste, hygiene, and cleanliness. However, YSRCP mobs placed rice plates in the handwashing area to fabricate a story, continuing their toxic campaign.”
AP Municipal Administration Minister Narayana also investigated the claims about poor hygiene in the Tanuku Anna Canteen. After speaking with representatives and officials from the Hare Krishna Movement, Narayana confirmed that the accusations were baseless. Officials clarified that the plates were momentarily placed in the wash basin instead of a dustbin due to a large crowd, and the video circulated on social media was misleading. The representatives assured that special arrangements are in place to maintain cleanliness in the Anna canteens.
