Srinagar: Pakistan once again provoked India. The troops of Pakistan violated ceasefire and targeted 12 border out posts by resorting to fire and mortar shelling along the border in the district of Jammu. According to reports, the BSF troops retaliated and exchange of fire took place at 12 BoPs along IB.
A man was also killed in the firing and panic was created in the regions of Kanachak and Pargwal as mortar shells also landed in those areas, according to reports.
According to officials, the rangers of Pakistan resorted to firing of small arms and mortar shells on BoPs along IB in Pargwal and Kanachak sectors of Jammu district from 0540 hours. Last month, nearly 18 ceasefire violations took place along the border. Atleast four persons were killed and 14 others were also injured in the attacks.
