MCA Vice President Ashish Shelar has announced to the media, “We have lifted the Wankhede ban from Shah Rukh Khan”

Shah Rukh Khan was banned for five years from entering Wankhede Stadium after he allegedly abused and manhandled security guards who barred him from going on the field after his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders won a match against Mumbai Indians in 2012.

Although SRK had a different version of the story, the then MCA managing committee head late Vilasrao Deshmukh imposed the ban on the actor.

MCA further trashed SRK’s claim that Wankhede guards had manhandled his kids at the IPL match.
