Donald Trump is the only Republican standing, as John Kasich exits the race

Ohio Governor John Kasich, the only Republican candidate who had power to stop Donald Trump juggernaut for the party’s presidential nomination, quits the race just a day after Republican Ted Cruz ended his campaign.
Now, the billionaire Trump is the sole contender to win the Grand Old Party nomination, to stand against Hillary Clinton, who is pegged to be Democratic nominee, in the November elections.

“As I suspend my campaign today I have renewed faith, deeper faith that the Lord will show me the way forward,” Kasich said to his supporters in Columbus, on Wednesday, according to the reports.
Trump is now expected to face tough challenge with Hillary, who recently lost in Indiana to Democratic rival Bernie Sanders, is still cinched to win her party’s nomination.
“I don’t think we can take a risk on a loose cannon like Donald Trump running our country. I do think he is a loose cannon, and loose cannons tend to misfire,” Clinton said.
