On Friday, the President-elect Donald Trump, held a meeting with the top Intelligence officers. Speaking about this meeting with the Associated Press, Trump said that he learned a lot from the meeting. Though after the meeting Trump declined to comment on whether on his behalf Russia was involved in the meddling during the elections or not.

Trump said in a Friday afternoon statement “Russia, China, other countries, outside groups and people are consistently trying to break through the cyber-infrastructure of our governmental institutions, businesses and organizations,” he also added “there was absolutely no effect on the outcome of the election including the fact that there was no tampering whatsoever with voting machines”

The meeting with CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Director James Comey, and other officials was held at the New York office of Donald Trump. He said that he liked the officials a lot and that he believes they too learned a lot from the meeting. The President-elect did not divulge any information about the meeting. When asked if he was presented with any evidence against Russian meddling in the 2016 Presidential elections, he chose not to divulge any information. He said that he learned a lot of confidential things but refused to divulge information.
