The Biggest Award Night for Music, the 65th Annual Grammy Awards 2023 returned, with a grand event in Los Angeles.
Trevor Noah hosted the grand event on the 6th of February, Sunday, for a third time. This year’s show featured performances from Bad Bunny Brandi Carlile, Harry Styles and Lizzo. The ceremony paid tribute to three “lost icons”: Loretta Lynn, one of the crown jewels of country music, who died in October; Christine McVie, the Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter who died in November; and Takeoff, the Migos rapper who was shot and killed in November.
Speaking of highlights of the Grammy Awards, Beyoncé, who announced her 2023 world tour last week, is the most nominated artist this year, with nine nods. She won four awards on Sunday night. Not only this, Beyonce created history and is now the most honoured Grammy winner with 32 Grammy Awards. She broke the 26 years old record of late Hungarian-British Conductor Georg Solti, who had won 31 Grammy Awards.
Besides Beyonce, India’s music composer Ricky Kej wins his third Grammy Award for Divine Tides.
Kim Petras made Grammy history as the first transgender woman to win a Grammy in the best pop duo/group performance category.
