On the 25th of June, Australia won the 32nd One Day International (ODI) match against England.
In the match, the Australian Team won with 64 runs in the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup at the Lord’s Cricket Ground, England.
This year, England is the host of the ICC World Cup, which started on the 30th of May and will continue till the 14th of July.
The Australian Team stood with an outstanding score of 285 runs and a loss of 7 wickets after 50 overs. England, on the other hand, managed to score 221 runs and had a loss of 10 wickets after 44.4 overs.
England won the toss and chose to bowl first. Aaron Finch hit a century (100 runs) off 116 balls, out of which, 44 runs were because of fours and 12 due to sixers. He was named the Man of the Match.
Aaron Finch, with his outstanding performance in the ICC series, became the second captain to score 4 consecutive 50 plus runs in matches. He scored 82 runs against Pakistan, 153 runs against Bangladesh, 53 runs against Sri Lanka and 100 runs against England.
This is Australia’s 4th victory in the ICC World Cup 2019. On the 1st of June, the 6th of June, the 12th of June and the 25th of June, Australia won against Afghanistan, West Indies, Pakistan and England respectively.
After defeating Team England, Australia will play 2 ODI matches against New Zealand on the 29th of June and South Africa on the 6th of July.
The next match, which will be between Pakistan and New Zealand, is on the 26th of June at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham, England at 3:00 P.M.
