In the early hours on Thursday, The FLOTUS, Michelle Obama shared a video on her twitter handle of herself taking a last stroll through the White House. The video shows Michelle Obama cherishing her last two days in the White House before the POTUS, Barack Obama, officially passes on his power to the President-elect Donald Trump.
In the 29 second long clip, Michelle Obama is seen calling out for the First Family’s two dogs, Bo and Sunny. While they go sprinting down the hallway towards her she walks through some of the rooms, glancing at their residence from the last eight years.

On Friday, immediately after the swearing in ceremony, President Obama, 55, Michelle and their two kids, Malia, 18 and Sasha, 15, will take off to Palm Springs, California for a vacation. Once after returning from the vacation, the family will shift to their eight bedroom home in Washington D.C. The family will live in Washington so that Sasha can finish her high school in Bethesda, Maryland.

In an interview with 60 minutes, the president said that his family is ready to move on and start the next chapter in their lives. The president speaking about his daughters said, “They’re ready to go.” He added, “I mean, the girls, obviously, they are now at an age in which the constraints of Secret Service and bubbles and all that stuff have gotten pretty old.” In the same interview speaking about Michelle Obama, he said, “She’s thrived as the first lady, but it’s not her preference, which is ironic given how good she is.”
Well as the family gets ready to move on, the United States as a nation is still reeling from the shock of accepting President-elect Donald Trump as their Next President!
