“Modi not welcome” Poster At UK Parliament photoshopped

London: A large image of the projection of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wielding a sword with the words ‘Modi not welcome’ on UK’s House of Parliament went viral, it is being said that the picture which was displayed was photo-shopped.

The picture had a text written on it saying ‘Modi Not Welcome’. In the photo-shopped image, Modi is seen wielding a sword in front of an OM symbol which transformed into a swastika.

The Awaaz Network who aim to monitor and combat religious hatred in South Asia and the UK were protesting against Modi’s visit to the UK this week. The Awaaz Network is also planning a big protest march on November 12, a day before Modi is expected to address a crowd of close to 70,000 people in London’s Wembley stadium.

Reports say that the projection was put onto the House of Parliament by a group which was protesting Modi’s UK visit. It is also learnt that the police authorities are unaware of the incident.
