PM Modi mocked on twitter after wishing Afghanistan President on the wrong date

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always been praised for being a tech-friendly PM but on Friday, a major faux pas left him red-faced on Twitter, where he has nearly 18 million followers. Like always PM Modi took his twitter handle to greet Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani on his birthday. Prime Minister wished President Ghani a “long life and exceptional health and a joyful journey ahead”.

But yesterday PM Modi was mocked on the platform when President Ghani reverted thanking Modi from his ‘gracious words’ although his birthday dated on May 19 and not February 12.

However later many of them pointed out that Google could be blamed for PM’s faux pas, as it was retain on the search engine.
