A Jodhpur Police Station, on the 6th of February, registered a fresh case against the two cricketers Hardik Pandya and K.L. Rahul and Bollywood director, Karan Johar.

The case was filed against the three after Hardik and Rahul made sexist comments on a popular chat show, Koffee with Karan, hosted by Karan Johar.

During the show, Hardik Pandya, accompanied by K.L. Rahul, shared some detailed and personal secrets about his personal life and made some sexist and misogynistic remarks about women.

The remarks came after Karan Johar, the host of the show, asked both the guests some personal questions about their preferences as well as their sex life.

The duo faced a ban from the cricket board after the episode went viral on all the social media platforms, creating hatred among the audience. The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) banned the players from playing for the Indian Cricket Team.

However, on the 24th of January, the BCCI lifted the ban and allowed the players to join the Indian Cricket Team again. Hardik Pandya played the New Zealand One Day International (ODI) series, whereas Rahul was sent to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala for a Test match series.
