Srishti Kaur, a teenager from Noida, brought fame to India again in 2017, by winning the much coveted recognition that comes with the Miss Teen Universe title.
Kaur won the pageant by beating 25 contestants from around the globe. The annual event was held in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua. The finalists included Ary Trava from Mexico and Samantha Pierre from Canada.

Srishti is a student of London School of Fashion. She also bagged the award for best national costume. The costume represented the Indian National bird- the Peacock.

This is the second international crown Kaur had bagged. The first was when she won Miss Teen Tiara International among 29 contestants. The Miss Teen Universe International was introduced six years back and has contestants of ages 15 to 19.
