Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police have arrested Behara Prasad following allegations of harassment by a fellow actress. The victim, a resident of Manikonda, filed a complaint accusing Prasad of inappropriate behavior during and after the shooting of web series projects.
According to the complaint, Prasad first met the actress during the filming of a web series. She alleged that he behaved rudely during the shoot. Later, while working on another web series, his actions escalated, with the accused allegedly using vulgar language and physically assaulting her in front of the entire production team.
The incident reportedly occurred on December 11 when Prasad attacked the actress as she was leaving the set. Based on her detailed statement, the police registered a case under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code. Prasad was arrested, presented before the court, and subsequently remanded to 14 days of judicial custody. He has been shifted to Chanchalguda Jail.
