Chennai: Actress Gautami has vowed to continue her fight until justice is served in the case of an alleged fraud involving film financier Alagappan from Karaikkudi. According to Gautami, Alagappan took Rs. 3.1 crore from her, promising to sell 150 acres of land near Muthukulattur in Ramanathapuram district but failed to follow through.
Gautami lodged a formal complaint with the Ramanathapuram District Superintendent of Police, seeking the return of her money. The case is currently being heard in the Ramanathapuram District Court. On Thursday, Gautami appeared in court and presented her statement before the judge. Her legal team argued against granting bail to Alagappan, urging the court to ensure justice is served.
Speaking to reporters after the hearing, Gautami emphasized her determination to pursue the case until the rightful outcome is achieved.
