Warangal: Former minister and renowned film actor Babumohan displayed his determination by filing his nomination as an independent candidate for the Warangal Lok Sabha seat on Thursday. Despite experiencing back pain, Babumohan arrived at the Warangal Returning Officer’s office in the afternoon to complete the formalities.
Acknowledging his discomfort, the office staff promptly arranged a wheelchair to assist him inside. The Returning Officer then handed over the nomination papers to Babumohan’s representative, Pravinya.
After completing the nomination process, Babumohan addressed the media present at the venue. Responding to queries about speculations regarding KA Paul’s potential nomination from the Prajashanti Party, Babumohan clarified that he had merely visited Rammante to meet KA Paul. He emphasized that he had not joined any political party and had decided to contest independently based on the encouragement from some of his supporters. Babumohan’s nomination as an independent candidate reflects his commitment to serve the people of Warangal.
